Wow. The bomb was dropped in Room 18 today when we were interviewing the principal, Mrs. Doherty. She showed up for the interview all dressed in black. She politely answered all our questions but Room 18 was left in complete shock by the end of the interview (which later turned into 'riled up' by the end of the day!). Ryan was quick to suggest that we needed to convince Mrs. Doherty of her hasty decision making. Ryan thought the best thing we could do was to each write her a letter using all those persuasive writing skills we've learned this term. With a class vote, it was unanimously decided that it would be well worth the effort! Stay tuned...we're hoping to turn Mrs. Doherty's decision around in these last few days of the term. The pressure is on.
